I dedicate this book to the Indian River Community College (IRCC) Foundation in Fort Pierce, Florida. The IRCC Foundation promotes higher education with student scholarships, support of instructional programs, technology grants, and new and improved facilities. As the Vice President of Academic Affairs at IRCC, I am pleased to contribute all proceeds from the sale of this book directly to the Foundation to be used in the areas of student, instructional, and facility support to provide better access and opportunities for students to continue their education.
It has been a pleasure working with IRCC and the Pioneer River Press. I thank Dr. Edwin R. Massey, IRCC President, and Jimmie Anne Haisley, Executive Director of the IRCC Foundation, for their strong leadership and assistance with this project.
