I dedicate this book to the Indian River Community College (IRCC) Foundation in Fort Pierce, Florida. As a partner in building a better community, the IRCC Foundation promotes higher education with student scholarships, support of instructional programs, technology grants, and new and improved facilities.

As a former member of the IRCC Foundation Board and a longtime supporter of IRCC, I am pleased to contribute all proceeds from the sale of this book directly to the IRCC Foundation to be used in the areas of student, instructional, and facility support to provide better access and opportunities for students to continue their education.

It has been a pleasure to work with the IRCC Foundation, which is celebrating their 40th Anniversary this year. I thank Dr. Edwin R. Massey, IRCC President, and Jimmie Anne Haisley, Executive Director of the IRCC Foundation, for their strong leadership and assistance with this project. Like a flock of migrating birds flying in a V formation, the staff members in the IRCC Foundation work together efficiently and effectively.
